the everyday things

What’s up guys 👋

It’s Holistic. I am a music producer from North Carolina. Currently, I am in the pursuit of becoming a full-time producer/creator.

🎧 Music of the Week: Burna Boy - “TaTaTa”, Söhns, Pambouk Remic - “Yuna”, Bouvé - “Personal Taste”

📚 Read of the Week: “Blue Ocean Strategy” by W. Chan Kim and Renee Mauborgne

💭 Quote of the Week: “People often say that this or that person has not yet found himself. But the self is not something one finds; it is something one creates.” – Thomas Szasz

The Details Are In…

There’s a saying that has stuck with me ever since I heard it for the first time..

“How you do one thing is how you do everything”

The way you do something mundane—how you treat your space, how you respond to people, how you handle being late—those are all signals. Not just to others, but to yourself.

You want to work and apply yourself every day as if someone you respect is watching.

You’re always reinforcing a story:
“I’m the kind of person who takes shortcuts.”
Or
“I’m the kind of person who finishes strong.”

→ The person who rushes through their morning is often rushing through their life..

→ And the one who shows up with care—no matter how small the task—is usually the one you trust with the big things.

You can see this when you look at the top 1% of producers…

It takes way more than talent to progress as a professional

  1. their workflow is dialed

  2. their sessions are organized

  3. they consider others’ time

The truth is, living like this is to make you a better human. It doesn’t mean it’s the easiest choice or most convenient. This can create a natural pressure or slight sense of urgency to keep at it.

If you want to perform at a high level in anything, the attention to detail is what will set you apart from the rest.

Maybe today’s not about reaching a new height or going viral. Place your focus on each task you do and give it your full attention.

Try your best to live in harmony with the person you want to become.

So, you want to get better at something but don’t know where to begin?

Start treating your goals as if your favorite inspiration is waiting. Waiting for you to take action and reach your potential.

♛ That’s the real power of habits. They aren’t just actions—they’re votes for your identity.

Choose one task this week—something small—and approach it like it matters.

Clean the kitchen like a professional. Write that message like it’s your craft. Finish your workout like it’s game day.

Not because anyone’s watching.
But because you are.

With fire,

Holistic
